Trump Says Iran’s Attempts on His Life Failed, ‘The Entire U.S. Military is Watching and Waiting’ Says He Is Surrounded by More Men, Guns, and Weapons Than He’s Ever Seen Before

Former President Donald Trump claimed on Wednesday that Iran continues to make attempts on his life, raising concerns about his safety.

“Big threats on my life by Iran. The entire U.S. Military is watching and waiting,” the 78-year-old Trump posted on Truth Social, following news that Ryan Wesley Routh had been charged with an assassination attempt earlier in the month.

Trump stated, “Moves were already made by Iran that didn’t work out, but they will try again. Not a good situation for anyone.”

He emphasized the level of security around him, saying, “I am surrounded by more men, guns, and weapons than I have ever seen before. Thank you to Congress for unanimously approving far more money to Secret Service – Zero ‘NO’ Votes, strictly bipartisan.”

In a show of unity, Trump added, “Nice to see Republicans and Democrats get together on something. An attack on a former President is a Death Wish for the attacker!”

However, Trump did not offer specific details on the alleged assassination attempts or whether they were linked to any domestic threats.

This summer, Trump narrowly avoided two assassination attempts. On July 13, at a rally in Butler, Pa., Trump was grazed by a bullet fired by 20-year-old Thomas Matthew Crooks, who was subsequently shot and killed by the Secret Service.

On September 15, another would-be assassin, Ryan Wesley Routh, was found hiding in the hedges near Trump’s West Palm Beach golf course while Trump was playing. Routh, 58, fled but was later captured. He is now facing a potential life sentence.
