ABC Pulls Jimmy Kimmel After Disgusting Attack on Charlie Kirk

ABC has abruptly yanked Jimmy Kimmel Live! off the air indefinitely after the left-wing late-night host made sickening comments about conservative activist Charlie Kirk, who was recently shot and killed.

During his Monday night monologue, Kimmel implied that the suspected shooter, Tyler Robinson, was somehow connected to the MAGA movement — even suggesting Trump supporters were to blame. “The MAGA Gang [is] desperately trying to characterize this kid who murdered Charlie Kirk as anything other than one of them,” Kimmel said, attempting to twist a national tragedy into partisan mockery.

The backlash was swift.

FCC Chairman Brendan Carr, in a statement to podcaster Benny Johnson, called Kimmel’s remarks “truly sick,” warning that Disney and ABC could face real consequences. “They have a license granted by us at the FCC, and that comes with an obligation to operate in the public interest,” Carr said. “We can do this the easy way or the hard way.”

Nexstar Media Group — the largest owner of local TV stations in the country — announced it would no longer air Jimmy Kimmel Live! across all of its ABC-affiliated stations. Nexstar President Andrew Alford blasted the show for being “offensive and insensitive,” and said continuing to broadcast Kimmel’s show “is simply not in the public interest.”

ABC claims Kimmel isn’t fired—yet. But pressure is mounting.
